One of our latest projects is a new website for Airbus UK Broughton Football Club.
Promoted to the Welsh Premier League - the national league of Wales - six years ago, the club has recently qualified for a new 'elite' 12-club league in 2010/11.
Concurrent with this on-field success, the club decided to appoint a new commercial director and one of the first objectives was to create a new website that projected a strong brand image to potential sponsors and commercial partners.
The club also required a Content Management System (CMS) so that the site could be updated frequently by club officials with no technical knowledge.
Designed and on-line within a month of the original brief, the new site has been warmly received by the client and by the club's supporters.
"We feel that the club needed a stronger identity with an on-line presence both locally and nationally, and secondly with the commercial plan now kicking in, it is imperative that our website reflects our offerings to supporters, sponsors and club partners," says commercial director Stewart Roberts.
"In addition to branding and commerciality the club and website is embarking on new initiatives that include Football in the Community, Community Involvement and Charity Events as we look to build closer and stronger links with the communities of Flintshire.
"One of the goals is to slowly increase the participation of the local community and business areas around the club and our initiatives on increasing attendances will cover the whole Flintshire region," added Roberts.
A key feature of the site is league tables, club and player statistics which are updated automatically from data generated by Welsh Premier Football, an independent website for the Welsh Premier League which we also designed and maintain.
