In 2008, we designed a website for Neath Athletic, one of the newest clubs to join the Welsh Premier League.
With a Content Management System (CMS), the site was well-received and proved easy to update for the club officials.
In 2009, the club moved its ground to The Gnoll - the home of the famous Neath Rugby Club and, with considerable investment over the next 12 months, major signings were made ahead of the 2010/11 season, including Football League duo Lee Trundle and Kristian O'Leary from Swansea City.
The club also embarked on a new commercial strategy, which includes a marketing and radio advertising campaign, and wanted the website to reflect the dawn of this new era for the Eagles.
We were commissioned to revamp the existing site with a new look to match the club's ambitions on and off the field.
Within a limited timescale of just two weeks, the new site was ready to go live and has been warmly welcomed by the club and supporters alike.
A key feature of the site is league tables, club and player statistics which are updated automatically from data generated by Welsh Premier Football, an independent website for the Welsh Premier League which we also designed and maintain.
